- Storage pools created in QuTS hero h5.0.1 (or later versions) cannot be imported to QuTS hero h5.0.0 (or earlier versions).
- Out-of-the-box QuTS hero h5.0.1 automatically installs security updates by default. Nevertheless, if you update the firmware from QuTS hero h5.0.0 to h5.0.1, QuTS hero will keep your existing firmware update settings. We recommend checking your firmware update settings in Control Panel > Firmware Update.
- Removed support for the following developer tools: Python 2, Node.js v4, Node.js v6, Node.js v8, and Ruby on Rails.
- Removed support for the following apps or tools: Mono, Perl, and AlarmClock. We recommend running these apps or tools using Container Station if needed.
- Applied multiple security updates to further enhance system security.
- Updated the EC fan firmware version on the TVS-hx74 models to improve fan speed control.
- Fixed an issue where after updating their Windows PC to Windows 11 22H2, users could not log in as a domain user if the NAS served as the domain controller.
- Fixed an issue where QVR Pro could not sync with QuTS hero domain user/group information and permission settings due to inconsistent case sensitivity in user/domain names.
- Fixed an issue where Event Log displayed unexpected messages about underclocking (lowering CPU frequency) on the x86-based NAS models, which do not allow underclocking.
- Fixed an issue where local and domain users could not access a shared folder named "external" even if they were granted access permissions. ("external" is a system reserved name.)
- Resolved an issue where users could not set a power schedule when the date and time format was set to DD-MM-YYYY.
- Fixed an issue where an error message in Storage & Snapshots partially overlapped with other text.
- Fixed an issue where Event Log would still display an error message when the system could not obtain app update information even if users had already disabled app updates in the App Center.
- Resolved an issue where QuTS hero could not successfully stop processes when users restarted a 32-bit ARM-based NAS.
- Fixed an issue where users could not copy a file and paste in the same folder.
- Fixed an issue where QuTS hero would only delete one power schedule even if users selected multiple schedules for deletion.
- Fixed an issue that prevented users from uploading files to a shared folder via File Station even if they were granted access permissions.
- Fixed an issue where after adding network interfaces to a port trunking group, the system would display abnormal packet counts when users checked network configuration with the "ifconfig" command.
- Fixed an issue where File Station would still create encrypted share links (HTTPS) even if users had already disabled secure connection in Control Panel.
- Resolved an issue where QuTS hero login screen still displayed the "Version" string even though firmware version information was no longer available since a previous QuTS hero update.
- Fixed an issue where Storage & Snapshots would display the slot number of an M.2 SSD installed on Slot 1 of the QM2-2P-244A M2.SSD/PCIe expansion card as Slot 2.
- Resolved an issue where users could not update Let's Encrypt to the latest root certificates and intermediate certificates.
- Fixed an issue where users could not start VJBOD Cloud after locking and then unlocking an encrypted system volume where VJBOD Cloud was installed.
- Fixed an issue that prevented users from decrypting or formatting the FANTEC DB-AluSky U3-6G external drive.
- Fixed an issue where users could not open a share link if the password contained the € (Euro sign) character.
- Fixed an issue where system logs occasionally might generate infinite loops due to unexpected exceptions.
- Fixed an issue where users could not restore settings with a BIN file (binary file for backing up system settings) if the current firmware version was different from the firmware version in which the BIN file was generated.
- Fixed an issue where users could not view subfolders mounted via CIFS when accessing the NAS via SSH.
- Fixed an issue where the system occasionally could not apply correct ACL permissions to shared folders due to some unexpected behaviors of FTP configuration files.
- Fixed an issue where users could not obtain correct values when querying certain OIDs (object identifiers) via a SNMP client.
- Resolved an issue where Control Panel did not display a debugging message when the NAS failed to join a domain.
- Fixed an issue where users could not join a NAS to an Active Directory domain under certain circumstances.
- Users sometimes cannot switch between different FEC (Forward Error Correction) modes for the QXG-25G2SF-CX6LX network expansion card.
- SnapSync jobs for LUNs may fail after users edit LUN names.
- After users edit LUN settings and run a Snapshot Replica job, the destination NAS cannot correctly display LUN information in Snapshot Vault.
- Storage & Snapshots and iSCSI & Fibre Channel sometimes display different sizes of the same LUN after users revert a LUN by importing a snapshot.
